Filipino-Australian Josh McDonald, one of Hornsby, Australia's best basketball players, died at age 25 early this month from a brain tumor, a report of the news site The Filipino Australian said.

Selorio recalled that Mcdonald's best achievement was playing for the Norths basketball club of the Waratah League.
“Its so sad to see a young life taken away, but God has bigger and better plans for us,” Selorio said.
McDonald was the youngest participant of the first ever Filipino Basketball Night organized by Selorio in 2005 with the Sydney Kings.
